Weld-on Adhesives and Cements

We get a lot of request on information on gluing plastics. Plastics are tricky because there are so many different kinds; acrylic, styrene, Lucite, ABC, PVC etc. They all have different properties that make each one require a different kind of bond. Weld-on products, manufactured by IPS, specialize in plastics and only plastics. They have a complete line of adhesives and cements that vary in thickness, set time, ease of use, and of course types of plastics they will adhere. All work very well, are clear (except Weld-on #10) and waterproof. Weld-on #40 is the only exception as it also works on metal and wood when glued to plastic, but the rest of the products are exclusively for plastics. They are available at any store that specializes in selling plastics; kinda makes sense, doesn't it?
